(1) The classification of posts in the Nepali Army will be as follows:-
(a) On the officer's side - Maharathi, Rathi, Uparathi, Assistant Rathi, Mahasenani, Chief Senani, Senani, Co-senani, Deputy Senani and Assistant Senani.
(b) On the post side – Chief Subedar, Subedar and Jamdar.
(c) Towards Villadar – Hudda, Amaldar and Piut.
(d) To other ranks – soldiers and followers.
(2) The unranked posts among the followers as per clause (d) of sub-rule (1) will be as per schedule-2.
